After being on hiatus last year, the Festival of Chocolate returned to South Florida! This event, which is not to be confused with a similar event that takes place at Fairchild Tropical Garden around this time of the year, is a celebration of all things chocolate. There were plenty of vendors, cooking demonstrations, and fun trivia to be had. And, as an added bonus, it was held at the Miami Auto Museum. Lots of cool things to see, once you’d had your fill of chocolate.
In addition to stuffing your face full of chocolate, they also held a chocolate fashion show. Their Cocoa Couture fashion show let designers show off garments that were made using chocolate as the inspiration. Very creative!
Sadly, Waffy’s seems to have opted out of participating this year. They were missed. Still, I’m looking forward to next year. Keep up the good work!
